This policy deals only with personal information handled by the Medicine Hat Cowboy Poetry Foundation.

The Medicine Hat Cowboy Poetry Foundation collects personal information for such purposes as:

• administering the Foundation’s membership and providing member services;
• registering for Medicine Hat Cowboy Poetry Foundation events;
• purchasing various products or services including show tickets, programming (workshops), or merchandise , as in books and CDs;
• processing and administering the above or other purposes as necessary.

The Medicine Hat Cowboy Poetry Foundation will not use personal information for any other purpose than identified at or before the time of collection.

Member Services

The Medicine Hat Cowboy Poetry Foundation may collect contact information from its members to:

• send out newsletters and other relevant information
• inform members of upcoming Medicine Hat Cowboy Poetry Foundation and related events
• send out invoices and otherwise administer the Foundation’s membership

This contact information is voluntarily provided by Medicine Hat Cowboy Poetry Foundation members. Members may, at any time, be removed from our mailing lists at their written (electronic or hard copy) requests.

Through external partners, such as the Medicine Hat Public Library, the Foundation offers various services to its members.

Members who chose to participate in these programs are advised to refer directly to the privacy policies of those partners. The Medicine Hat Cowboy Poetry Foundation does not collect, use or retain any personal information from these programs.

Consent

The Medicine Hat Cowboy Poetry Foundation seeks consent for all personal information it collects, uses and discloses through information provided to individuals prior to collection, or at the time of collection.

If information is voluntarily provided, this is interpreted as consent to the collection, use and disclosure of personally identifiable information as described in this Privacy Policy. As required by the CSA Model Code, the Medicine Hat Cowboy Poetry Foundation will not use personal information for any purpose other than that for which consent has been provided. These members are limited in number, and are knowledgeable about and committed to our privacy policies.
